Priest Holmes will be honored by the Kansas City Chiefs in a retirement ceremony on Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Arrowhead Stadium. He will be recognized for his contributions to the Kansas City Chiefs Organization in a ceremony preceding the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Dallas Cowboys game. Kick off is at 12:00 noon CST.

In addition to his retirement ceremony festivities, the Priest Holmes Foundation is hosting a series of fundraising events in Kansas City to benefit the PHF Scholarship & Standards Program.

The foundation is a recognized 501 (C) (3) nonprofit organization based in San Antonio, Texas. The foundation is committed to helping youth achieve their goals and dreams. Since the inception of the Priest Holmes Foundation Scholarship & Standards Program in 2008, a total of 19 Scholarships have been awarded to high school seniors embarking upon their freshman year of college.

The Priest Holmes Foundation has reached thousands of today’s youth through school incentive programs and fundraising events. As 2009 comes to a close, we are gearing up for another year of exciting philanthropic initiatives in 2010!
