KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Priest Holmes has seen plenty of talented running backs during his NFL career. But there’s one he is particularly fond of these days. That, of course, is Kansas City running back Kareem Hunt.
The rookie third-round pick out of Toledo has rushed 146 times for 763 yards (5.2 average) and four touchdowns through his first eight games. Hunt’s 763 yards rushing is tops in the NFL and he also is the first player in history to gain at least 100 yards from scrimmage in each of his first seven games.
Hunt and the Chiefs (6-2) will square off against Ezekiel Elliott and the Dallas Cowboys (4-3) at 3:25 p.m. Sunday at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
